Mike Bithell has confirmed his upcoming modern take on the Robin Hood legend Volume will be hitting Playstation 4, Playstation Vita and Steam August 18th. I’m personally super psyched for this – Volume looks a great game and after thoroughly enjoying Bithell’s previous release Thomas Was Alone expectations are high going into this.

You can check out the date confirmation trailer below:

When announcing the game Mike Bithell said that Volume was heavily inspired from his days of playing Metal Gear Solid when younger so there’s going to be plenty of stealth elements in the game. Unlike Metal Gear Solid though there’ll be no killing in the game – you’ll have to use tools and your cunning to get through each level. Honestly, I can’t wait for this game.

The game has got some great talent on board for the voice acting with Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit actor Andy Serkis lending his voice to the game’s main antagonist, and Danny Wallace once again working with Mike Bithell to voice AI companion Alan.

Keep tuned for more details – hopefully more will be release at E3.
