3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment have announced that their upcoming action RPG shooter Bombshell will hit Steam on January 29 2016, with a console release expected some time later. You can check the game out in action below:

Bombshell was originally meant to be the latest Duke Nukem title before a lawsuit by IP holder Gearbox Software saw a complete cosmetic change to what we have now – the game has a bit of history even before release.

Besides the standard release, you’ll also be able to get a Digital Deluxe Edition that includes:
– The Official Bombshell Soundtrack by Andrew Hulshult (digital copy)
– Digital art book & world map overviews
– Early BETA access to the Bombshell FPS Prequel, a retro-style first-person shooter that will be sold separately in 2016
