Marvolous Europe have announced that they’ll be bringing 2D fighter Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel to Europe on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 in early 2016. You can grab a look at the game in action in the trailer below:

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel hit arcades earlier this year in Japan and has also launched on the Playstation 4 there last week – it’s great to see that we’ll be getting a European release too.

“Players select a main character – including Super Sonico, who will be playable for the first time in this console release – along with two partner characters from an array of Nitroplus-related products.
Between the easy-to-execute combos, cinematic cut-ins on “Lethal Blaze” attacks that run the gamut from awe-inspiring to adorable, and assist mechanics that allow for up to six onscreen characters at a time, the development team at Examu – best known for their work on the popular Arcana Heart series – ensures that combat stays fast and flashy.
Once players master the basics, they can see how their skills stack up online against other network players, with full cross-play on offer between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 users.”

It’s sounding pretty sweet – there’s a cast of twelve characters at launch, plus a ton of support characters to partner up with. Cross platform play is pretty sweet too; now I’ll be able to get beaten by both Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 players!

There’s no official date on Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel yet, but expect it to arrive sometime during Q1 2016 on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3.
