Whilst we’ve seen a few titles recently that have featured the control of animals, none have offered the same experience as Ubisoft’s new VR title, Eagle Flight. You can check out the reveal trailer below:
“The game lets players become an eagle and fly over Paris and its iconic landmarks, 50 years after humans have left the city. Nature and wildlife has taken back the city, creating a rich playground and offering an incredible experience of free flight and adventure. The game offers both a single player experience and a multiplayer experience that allows players to work in a team with up to six players in two modes.”
Eagle Flight is Ubisoft’s first full VR game and it looks pretty interesting – whilst the trailer doesn’t show a lot of the game’s gameplay aspects, it does at least show the kind of experience we’ll be having. Still though, as with all VR titles, it’s difficult to grasp the experience fully until we get to see it in action on a VR device.
We’ll get our hands on Eagle Flight sometime in 2016 – it’ll be arriving on most VR platforms including Playstation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
