Deep Silver have revealed the all new four player co-op mode for Homefront: The Revolution called ‘Resistance Mode’. A brand new trailer has been released showing off the new co-op mode in action – check it out below:
“Form a Resistance Cell with your friends online, and wage guerrilla warfare against the military might of the KPA in thrilling narrative-driven Missions across occupied Philadelphia.
Unlock new skills, earn weapon blueprints, rare equipment and combat gear to upgrade and customise your personal roster of Freedom Fighters, as you and your teammates go from rookie civilians to battle hardened soldiers.
Players will also enjoy major free content updates as part of an extensive post-launch support program from Dambuster Studios.”
With this all new co-op mode, Homefront: The Revolution is certainly looking like it could be one of the best releases this year. It sounds like ‘Resistance Mode’ is going to be quite meaty too – it’s expected to launch with 12 missions, but 20 more will be made available throughout the year for free. In a time where constant DLC can cause splits in online communities, it’s fantastic to see that Deep Silver will keep all players together with all DLC missions being available for free.
Xbox One players will be able to try out ‘Resistance Mode’ during the exclusive closed beta that runs between February 11th until February 14th. For more details on how to take part in the beta you can visit the official website through this link.
Homefront: The Revolution launches on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 17th.
