Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have finally released the definitive version of Mortal Kombat X – Mortal Kombat XL is now available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, featuring all DLC including the recently released Kombat Pack 2.  You can check out the launch trailer below:

I’ve loved the Mortal Kombat series since forever – I always remember owning the original Mortal Kombat on the SEGA Master System but also spending a ton of cash in the arcades blasting through Mortal Kombat 2. I’ve owned every entry since then… ah, memories. Mortal Kombat X offered everything an MK fan could want and more when it released last year, so it’s great to see a definitive edition available with the release of Mortal Kombat XL. I think the first thing I’ll do in the game is settle the famous grudge match – not Scorpion vs Sub-Zero, but Alien vs Predator…

Mortal Kombat XL is out now on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One digital stores – it hits retail on March 4th 2016 (this Friday). Those who already own Mortal Kombat X can grab the new content from today separately – the Mortal Kombat XL Pack is available to purchase for £19.99 and Kombat Pack 2 is available for £15.99
