Check out what gaming news and trailers stood out for us in our round-up of January 31st 2018, including the release date reveal for Onrush, the reveal of Murderous Pursuits, and the release date reveal for Tekken Mobile.

– Codemasters have revealed that their upcoming racer Onrush will launch this June

Platform(s): PlayStation 4, Xbox One
Release Date: 05/06/2018

I love myself a bit of arcade racing, but the fact that the team behind Motorstorm and Driveclub has got me even more excited for Onrush. A release date has been revealed today, with the game officially launching on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 5th June 2018. Not too long to wait!

Check out the game’s original announcement trailer below:

– The zombie-smashing (but kinda cute) rogue-like Death Road to Canada makes its way to consoles this Spring

Platform(s): PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC
Release Date: Spring 2018 (Consoles) Out Now (PC)

So this looks kinda cute (and also very brutal). After debuting on PC in 2016, Death Road in Canada is making its way to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this Spring. The developers have called it a ‘Randomly Generated Road Trip Simulator’, but they seem to have left out the huge swarms of zombies in that description. Funny, that.

– Murderous Pursuits brings sneaky Victorian multiplayer murdering to PC gamers this March

Platform(s): PC
Release Date: March 2018

Now this looks neat – Murderous Pursuit challenges you to sneakily ‘dispose’ of other players all for the mysterious Mr. X. It’s not that simple though, since not only will other players be out to get you, but also the AI guards patrolling the area. It’s up to you to blend in and simply not get caught! I don’t think I’m doing the game justice here, so check out the announcement trailer below to see just how cool it looks:

– Check out some co-op footage from Dragon’s Crown Pro in the game’s new trailer

Platform(s): PlayStation 4
Release Date: Spring 2018

I played the heck out of Dragon’s Crown when it originally released, so I’m pretty excited to see that it’s getting a new and improved edition on the PlayStation 4. I forgot how fun the game could be in co-op, but then I checked out the new trailer that was released today and all the memories came flooding back – it looks like I’ll be battling against vicious demons, beasts, and, of course, dragons all over again this Spring.

– The vehicle-building adventure Trailmakers is available now on Steam Early Access

Platform(s): PC, Xbox One
Release Date: Out Now (PC – Early Access) 2018 (Xbox One)

Fancy heading to a massive planet where you’re able to create and customise any vehicle you can imagine, and then using it to pull of wide range daredevil stunts with a group of friends? Then I think Trailmakers might be for you. The game has hit Early Access on Steam today for PC gamers, whilst Xbox One gamers can look forward to it coming to the Game Preview Programme later on in 2018.

Everyone loves Tekken, right? How about Tekken on the go? Well, Bandai Namco have officially revealed the release date for Tekken Mobile today, and there’s not long to wait – European gamers can get their thumbs twitching from February 15th. – Find out more about RTS title Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 in the game’s new ‘Forging a Sequel’ trailer

Platform(s): PC

So I never played the original Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, but I can appreciate any game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. I also appreciate a trailer where the developers reveals the ins and outs behind producing the game, and that’s exactly what we have for Battlefleet Gothic: Armade 2 today – you can check it out down below:

– Re-live the video games of yesteryear when the C64 Mini releases this March

Platform(s): Commodore 64 (Duh!)
Release Date: 29/03/2018

So I never really played the Commodore 64 much, but my Dad did and he absolutely loved it. He also keeps telling me that I should try some of the classic games out, so I guess that the release of the C64 Mini in March is perfect for me, right? Those itching to get their hands on the upcoming device based upon the ‘World’s best-selling home computer’ can grab it from March 29th this year for a recommended retail price of £69.99
