The wait is almost over – Xenoblade Chronicles X, the eagerly anticipated follow up to Wii RPG Xenoblade Chronicles, finally arrives on the Wii U this week. You can see the game in action in the trailer below:

“Explore a massive open world RPG and fight for humanity’s survival in Xenoblade Chronicles X on Wii U! In this role-playing game for Wii U, players take control of one of the last surviving humans and discover an enormous alien world through an epic story. Players battle against threatening enemies of all shapes and sizes using a variety of special skills, track down resources and look for other survivors. It’s also possible to play online with other players.”

Fans have been eagerly waiting for this and it’s no surprise too – the game looks fantastic. It released in Japan earlier this year and received good reviews, so fans can rest assured that the game should be a blast.

Xenoblade Chronicles X launches on December 4 – it’ll be available digitally on the Nintendo eShop and physically at most retail outlets.
