Square Enix today revealed new sales figures for Final Fantasy VII Remake, with the timed PlayStation 4 exclusive’s physical shipments and digital sales exceeding the five-million mark. Whilst the exact figure wasn’t revealed, it was confirmed that the game is Square Enix’s most successful digital release across all PlayStation platforms. I’m sure a lot of the digital success is due to the current Covid-19 situation, but there’s no denying that Final Fantasy VII Remake is a pretty special title that gamers couldn’t wait to get their hands on – we even gave it a perfect score in our review.

Following glowing reviews from both players and critics across the globe, Square Enix Ltd., today announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake shipments and digital sales have exceeded over five million worldwide.
