It’s been a long, long wait, but gamers can FINALLY get their hands on a brand-new Crash game from today, with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time now available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The best part of all? Critics love it, with the game currently averaging at 86 on Metacritic.

You can check out the launch trailer down below:

It’s About Time – for a brand-wumping new Crash Bandicoot game!

Crash fourward into a time-shattered adventure with your favorite marsupials. Neo Cortex and N. Tropy are back at it again and launching an all-out assault on not just this universe, but the entire multiverse! Crash and Coco are here to save the day by reuniting the Four Quantum masks and bending the rules of reality.

New abilities? Check. More playable characters? Yep. Alternate dimensions? Obviously. Ridonkulous bosses? For sure. Same awesome sauce? You bet your sweet jorts. Wait, are they actually jorts? Not in this universe!

The more recent entries in the series (sans the N. Sane Trilogy) had received a lukewarm reception from gamers and critics alike, so it’s great to see Crash Bandicoot return to its true platforming roots and bring about a new entry that’s both innovative and nostalgic at the same time. I can’t WAIT to play it and lead everyone’s favourite marsupial on another wacky adventure.
