It was meant to launch alongside the consoles back in November, but after a three-month delay gamers can finally get their hands on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Marvel’s Avengers today. Best of all, it’s launching alongside the new Hawkeye update, meaning returning players who have taken advantage of the free next-gen upgrade will have an all new hero to play as too.

Whilst it has seen a mixed reception across the board, we were big fans of Marvel’s Avengers (you can find out what we thought in our review through this link). Still, new improvements and additions with the next-gen releases is only a good thing, with improved visuals, loading times, destruction, and even Dual Sense functionality (on the PlayStation 5) just some of the improvements players can look forward to.
